    Reporting to the Director, as the Contract Management Specialist II you will be accountable for tracking and managing product pricing, contracts, quotations, quotations and CCP.  You will primarily works cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and other Business Team members.  This role will extend beyond the baseline sales specialist role.  In this new role you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of assigned product lines, taking action to achieve the sales, operating profit and finished goods inventory plan, and recommending alternative tactics to improve product line performance. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Review and approval responsibility for metal hedging process and track hedge activity to ensure integration in the business team P&L
    • Process and on-boarding of new contractual accounts in conjunction with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain coordinates the quotation work flow
    • Responsible for forecasting across Business Unit  by working with sales to develop, complete and maintain BU monthly forecast, review and validate customer forecasts and capacity reserves, and reviews new business opportunities to maximize capacity utilization and establish correct linkage to end use customer for data reporting purposes.
    • Identify cold call opportunities for potential new business and log activity in CRM
    • Work actively with the Supply Chain partner to maximize return on inventory investment while maximizing service levels
    • Work with the business team to create, analyze and manager long term supply agreements
    • Analyses and comments on tenders, contracts and contract related documents and gives proactive advice.
    • Drives Project Execution and delivery of the required documentations/milestones
    • Ensure adherence to internal standards and compliance with external regulations and pricing that is consistent with overall business strategies
    • Maintains customer contact with the company and receives accurate and timely feedback to their requests
    • Prepares and delivers quotes following defined pricing policies and guidelines. Activities may also include collection of necessary documentation for tendering.
    • Oversees the order entry and confirmation activity
    • Executes order tracking for customers providing information on order status, expected delivery, and delivery status as well as any information customers may have about their order
    • Completes the administrative customer support for invoicing, returns, credit notes and transport documentation liaising with the competent departments
    • Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments

     

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel and Business Objects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
    • Critical and analytical thinking ability with strong attention to detail
    • Comprehensive business skills - understands business principles/practices
    • Strong team player with the ability to work independently

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance
    • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, sales, operations or engineering
    • LEAN Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt preferred
    • Commercial contract development and management experience preferred

     

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:

    • Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.
    • Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.
    • Employee will regularly be required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
    • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed.
    • Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
    • This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except excessive eye strain and possible lifting injuries
    • When travel is necessary, will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings
